Salahuddin province witnessed significant progress during the first half of 2013 in the field of licensing investment projects.

 Salahuddin province witnessed significant progress during the first half of 2013 in the field of licensing investment projects. SIC processed (66) investment application to commence various investment projects, (16) applications were granted in diverse economic sectors, including Seven investment licenses to erect residential complexes which will offer (1170) housing units, spread in location between Tikrit, Aldoor, Alalam and Samarra, and six investment licenses for implementing commercial projects including commercial complexes and shopping malls spread in location between Tikrit, Samarra and Bayji. Also 2 investment licenses to set up industrial projects (building brick factory) and 1 investment licenses to implements tourism project in Tikrit. These investment projects will provide approximately (1598) job opportunity for the province workforce. The achievement considered a huge step in achieving provincial economic integration. The serious and significant projects implemented by Salah al-Din Investment Commission in the past years are proof of its serious and active participation in this matter. The Commission is currently receiving a lot of investment applications with an increasing rate from local and foreign businesses companies to set up more investment projects achieving economic development and create more job opportunities. Also inducing a competitive environment for the investment companies in order to provide better services with adequate costs for the province citizens.
